TAMIL NADU HSC 12TH TOPPERS LIST 2024: TIRUPPUR DISTRICT TOPS TN HSC RESULT 2024; CHECK DISTRICT WISE RESULTS, PASS PERCENTAGE

Tamil Nadu HSC 12th Topper List 2024: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, released the TN HSC result topper list 2024 district wise. Along with the TN Plus 2 results 2024, the board also announced the pass percentage, district-wise results, and other relevant details. This year, the overall pass rate is 94.56 per cent. Among the students, 96.44 per cent of girls and 92.37 per cent of boys have successfully passed. The pass percentage for the Science stream is 96.35 per cent.

DGE TN +2 Result 2024: Tiruppur District Tops Tamil Nadu +2 Result 2024

Tiruppur district has secured the top position in the Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2024 with the highest pass percentage rate.

Around 8 lakh students registered for the Class 12 exams. The DGE Tamil Nadu (DGETN) administered the Class 12 board examinations statewide from March 1 to March 22. In order to successfully pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12th examinations, students are required to achieve a minimum of 35 marks in each theory subject, out of a total of 100 marks. For subjects with practical components, students must attain at least 70 marks in theory, along with 20 marks in practicals and an additional 10 marks in internal assessment.

In the previous year, the TN 12th Result was announced on May 8, announcing that out of the total 8,03,385 candidates who appeared for the exam, 7,55,451 successfully passed, leading to a pass percentage of 94.03 per cent. Among the 4,21,013 girls who participated in the exam, 4,05,753 (96.38 per cent) passed, whereas 3,49,697 boys, constituting 91.45 per cent of the total, cleared the examination. Virudhunagar district emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 97.85 per cent, followed closely by Tirupur and Coimbatore districts, which achieved pass rates of 97.79 per cent and 97.59 per cent, respectively.
