Panchak May 2024: Why Any Auspicious Work Is Not Performed During Panchak?

The five days that the Moon spends in Aquarius and Pisces are referred to as Panchak. According to the Hindu Vedic calendar, Panchak lasts five days every month. The time when the Moon is in Pisces or Aquarius is known as Dhanishta Panchank, and it is considered particularly bad luck if someone is preparing to start a new work.

It is not recommended to begin any new work during Panchak, according to ancient Indian legends, as it is regarded as a highly inauspicious period. It is believed that if work is started during Panchak, it will never be finished and that difficulties would instead double fivefold.

People often refer to Panchang in Hindu Vedic astrology and utilise it to determine the best time to carry out specific tasks, like as getting married, launching a business, building a house, etc. Since timing is so crucial, individuals go to great lengths to choose the ideal moment. It is recommended that people avoid travelling southward since it is said to be the route to Yama (Death Lord).
